Répartition française : Tourbières. Très localisé en Loire-Atlantique, d'anciennes citations du Massif Central.

Commentaires : Selon Nedumpally & al. (2025), cette espèce devrait être rangée dans le genre Xestia. Espèce relativement polyphage, qui semble cependant liée à Myrica gale sur ses rares stations françaises.
